Managing Director & Founder
Kristi has more than 20 years of project management and business administration experience. She’s passionate about sustainability, program design, and implementing pragmatic business strategies. As managing director of Elytra Group, Kristi oversees each project and works personally with each client.
Before founding Elytra Group, Kristi worked as a consultant and in corporate and governmental organizations. She has extensive experience designing and managing sustainability programs and initiatives across a variety of industries. She has conducted training on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) sustainability framework, which is the global standard for sustainability planning and reporting. Kristi has also implemented best management practices and conceptualized, drafted, and finalized sustainability plans and reports.

And she’s worked with small communities to tackle big problems using limited resources. Kristi has the experience to adapt and apply sustainability best practices for industries and organizations of all shapes and sizes.
Kristi holds several certifications and accreditations. She is certified in GRI Sustainability Reporting. She also holds the Climate Change Professional (CC-P) accreditation bestowed by the Association of Climate Change Officers (ACCO). This accreditation demonstrates leadership in climate change preparedness and strategic planning.
Continuing education is a priority for Kristi. She’s completed certification coursework in Sustainable Cities and Climate Solutions and Transforming Development: The Science and Practice of Resilience Thinking programs. As a reoccurring guest lecturer on sustainable business planning and strategy, she shares her knowledge and experience with graduate students at the University of San Diego.
A Spanish speaker, Kristi has lived, worked, and studied around the globe. She volunteers extensively and loves to put her education to use. With a BA in psychology and an MBA in sustainability, she has a deep understanding of the social, environmental, and economic aspects of sustainability.
